How We Do It

It is our goal to make building your pool as pleasurable as the enjoyment of the final product.  Our staff will work with you every step of the way, from getting the permits to designing your custom pool to the many services we offer the pool owner.

Permits

When we say hassle free, we mean it.  JMK POOLS will handle the permit process from filling out the paperwork to turning it in to the township.  We’ve been working with area township officials for years and understand what’s required.  We stay up to date with all of the latest codes and requirements. 

Construction

Breaking ground in Harleysville

Construction begins by using a track excavator to excavate according to your personalized blue print design.  The next phase is the installation of the steel skeleton that consist of 3/8" steel that is done to ASTM Standard for fill ground.  The bond beam of the pool has six bars of ½" steel in it.

The plumbing of the pool will be done with a non-corrosive PVC pipe.  The shell of the pool is formed by using hand contoured gunite (which is pneumatically applied concrete). 

Once everything is in place, the shell of the pool is formed by using hand contoured gunite.  Gunite is concrete delivered by pneumatic pressure through a hose and nozzle. 

Frost-proof tile is applied at the water line to enhance the beauty of your pool.  These tiles are available in a variety of colors and patterns.  Value added brick, stone or concrete coping can be added

Surroundings

A JMK representative can offer you the option of a cantilever deck which will present a beautiful continuous surface to the waters edge.  Our representatives can offer you a choice of Stamped Concrete, Kool Deck™, Exposed Concrete, or Hardscape that can compliment your patio, existing architecture, or landscape.  Fencing options and new landscaping can discussed at this time.
